DESCRIPTION

Inactivated vaccine,
E.coli enterotoxemia and Clostridium infections in swine, in injectable emulsion

 

COMPOSITION:

F4ab, F4ac, F5 and F6 fimbrial adhesins, corresponding to different E.coli serotypes; E.coli LT enterotoxoid; Clostridium perfringens toxoid (type C); Clostridium novyi toxoid (type B). Adjuvant based on aluminium hydroxide and Ginseng extracts.

 

INDICATIONS:

Swine: Prevention of colibacillosis enterotoxemia, necrotic enteritis in piglets and enterotoxemia in sows (sudden deaths).

 

SIDE EFFECTS:

Rare adverse reactions:
A small granuloma can develop at the injection site.
The vaccine may cause a slight, transient increase in body temperature (4-6 hours after injection).

 

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE:

Intramuscular injection into the neck muscles.
Allow the vaccine to reach room temperature (15-25 °C) before administration.
Shake before use.

 

DOSAGE:

Sows: 2 ml/animal.
In general, the following standard vaccination programme is recommended:
Basic vaccination consists of 2 doses: the first at approximately 6 weeks before farrowing and the second dose at approximately 3 weeks before farrowing.
Revaccination is performed in each subsequent.

 

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

0 days.

 

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:

Store and transport refrigerated (between +2 and +8 ºC). Do not freeze. Protect from light.
